The Irish poet Thomas Moore once wrote: “You travel around the world to get what you need and then you come home to find it”. Having traveled many roads, this debut album is Faith’s musical journey home. The recording was produced by Ray McLaughlin and Faith and engineered by Seamus Cullinane at Roseland Studios in Moate, County West Meathe, Ireland.  The songs chosen for this album from both the US and Ireland represent a musical portal, expressing feelings of love, hearth, home and freedom.  It’s an album that embarks upon a musical journey which harks back to Faith’s youth and musical roots – a culmination and celebration of her personal experiences with her husband in Ireland, family, friends and songs she cares deeply about.  Expressing a deeper side of herself, Faith Marion Robinson hopes those feelings will touch the imagination of those that wish to listen.
